Glisman is an empiricist. He approaches different media in art, through a systematic investigation of the designated matter. His works undergo a thorough preparation, whereby the final exhibit itself is always the result of causally determined circumstances. Coincidence and nature act together with the potential of the used substance as the creating force of the artwork, while the artist restrains himself as far as possible from the forming process. In his projects he is focussing on development. Recognition and sensation towards certain topics become substance during his conceptual experiments.
